Please include your Figma editor type, the type of link you were trying to add, and a short description of what happened. Do not send private, signed, credential-bearing, or confidential URLs.

Quick start

  1. Open S/gns in Figma or FigJam.
  2. Enable External previews.
  3. Paste a public HTTP or HTTPS link.
  4. Add optional notes, tags, or classification fields.
  5. Select Add to retrieve the preview.
  6. Select Canvas to create the card.
  7. Select a generated card to reopen its preview.

Frequently asked questions

Why is no preview image available?

Some websites block external preview services or do not expose public metadata. S/gns will create a placeholder card when an image cannot be retrieved.

Why does the image appear after the card?

Cards are created immediately for speed. The thumbnail loads separately in the background.

Why is a link rejected?

S/gns rejects localhost, private-network, credential-bearing, and non-HTTP links for security reasons.

Does S/gns upload my Figma file?

No. S/gns does not upload your Figma file. Only the public URL you explicitly add may be sent to the external preview services described in the Privacy Policy.

How do I report a problem?

Email tools@themorphickstone.com with the affected provider and steps to reproduce the issue. Do not include confidential URLs.
